Bonnie,
For the two last questions where the answers are 1) a great deal 2) some 3) not much, could we add two other option, that seem standard to the Lykert (?) scale? Could we add 1) Completely and 5) Not at all in between the answers you have listed?
Kim
Bonnie, because the other SAILS questions do not require the students to actually use the library web page and the new questions do, maybe we should say, "Open the library web page in another window and use it to answer these questions."
Just a few more minor tweaks.
Since the instructions for opening a second browser don't pertain to question #1 (who was your INTD 105 instructor?), would it look strange to move those instructions below question #1, where they would relate more closely to what students will be asked to do?
For the next question, "Locate one scholarly journal article about school desegregation in America," is there a specific reason why the designated topic is underlined? If we are trying to highlight the topic for easy reading, could we make it bold or italicized? The underline looks a little out of place. Just my opinion . . .
Furthermore, could we modify the next sentence to make it a little more clear? "Enter the Article Title and the Journal Name of your chosen source in the spaces provided below."
Kim
